Winter comes to one local school Dec. 17 when 32 tons of real snow are deposited on the courtard at T.H.Rogers School, a Vanguard campus in the Houston Independent School District whose student population is on-third gifted and talented, one-third deaf and one-third multiply Impaired.

The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Golf Tournament is a nine-hole traveling mini-golf course designed specifically for special needs children. Over 500 children have already succeeded in playing! The unique curriculum behind the program allows children to have fun, learn a life-long activity and increase fine motor skills and brain development.

NFL Alumni score big for special needs children in Houston |
Be An Angel is thrilled to announce the success of the 2010 Charity Golf Tournament and Pairing Party. The events, held at Redstone Golf Club on Sept. 14th and The House of Blues in Houston on Sept. 13th earned over $40,000 for Be An Angel.
With the help of major sponsors such as Administaff, The Houston Texans and Coca Cola, as well NFL Icons such as Houston Oilers Coach Bum Phillips and Oilers Quarterback Dan Pastorini, both events were sensational. All proceeds will be used to help purchase medical equipment and provide programs for special needs and profoundly deaf children in Houston. |
